Yesterday the sun was shining and the Paint Palette door was open whilst we painted beautiful distressed 'Welcome' swags....a design by Tracy Bormann.
Everyone started with seven hearts cut out of mdf with holes
drilled for string.
We basecoated them in one of my favourite Jo Sonja colours...Island Sand
distressed and painted letters
learnt how to paint miniature roses
added extra blossoms to the background
and finally splattered paint to age each heart.
I kept everyone going with home-made cake!
and cuddles with Hugo were top of Sue's list!!
It was great to have Helen and Linda back in the studio...
and lovely to welcome Sue to my studio for the first time.
